Shalom For Africa is looking for ambassadors from every imaginable place in the world.

Ambassador Role Description:

Overall Purpose
To support the further growth of the organization and help us achieve our mission of improving the life of the less privileged and voiceless persons especially single mothers, orphans and youths. Shalom For Africa is looking for a strong network of individuals across the world.
We wish to recruit a number of Ambassadors who will support Shalom For Africa in realizing this mission, in particular through forming new corporate partnerships and relationships with potential major donors and God-Parents.

Responsibilities:

•    Promote and develop the charity in order for it to grow and maintain its relevance.
•    Actively seek introductions to possible corporate partners, organizations and individuals.
•    Make use of your personal and external network to help raise awareness of our activities.
•    Attend events on behalf of Shalom For Africa, network and speak knowledgeably about the organization.
•    As would be expected when representing and volunteering for a charity, you will;
o    Act in the best interest of the charity, beneficiaries and future beneficiaries at all times.
o    Act with integrity, and avoid any personal conflicts of interest or misuse of charity funds or assets.
o    Maintain absolute confidentiality about all sensitive/confidential information received in the course of volunteering with the charity.
o    Comply with the requirements of legislation and other regulators (if any) which govern the activities of the charity.

Desirable knowledge, skills and experience:

•    Commitment to Shalom For Africa and its objectives.
•    Commitment to be an effective member of our enthusiastic team.
•    Ability to demonstrate a passion for building and development of the organisation.
•    Ability to think creatively and communicate well, particularly with individuals at senior level.
•    We’re looking for individuals with innovative ideas and a passion for charity.
